In addition to my work in the food industry, I am also involved in a small registered nonprofit charity organization called Emergency Relief Team Inc. in Melbourne. With over 100 volunteers, we provide assistance to those affected by earthquakes and other disasters and those in dire need.
My extensive experience travelling around the world meeting master chefs overseas and broadcasting on live television shows and my expertise and knowledge in the food industry have allowed me to help numerous businesses achieve their goals and succeed. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with others and am committed to making a positive impact in the industry and beyond. People need to eat! - From 2000 to 2007, the owner-occupier successfully operated a food business and provided comprehensive training to all staff members.
- In 2000, completed a food handling course at Melbourne Polytechnic. This course equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle food safely and efficiently
- In 2002, completed the Occupational Food and Safety course at Melbourne Polytechnic. This course provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of food safety, including hazard analysis, critical control points, and risk assessment.
- In 2008, Certificate III in Tourism with a specialization in International Retail Travel Sales while working for Flight Centre Brunswick. This certification allowed me to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the tourism industry, specifically in the area of sales and customer service.
- In 2017, completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) and subsequently updated the 2017 certification to TAE40116. In 2017, Own started up a business as a sole trader under the name B by B. Our goal is to help these businesses improve their operations and achieve success in the competitive food industry.

In February of 2023-current, a devastating earthquake struck in Türkiye, prompting me to the formation of a new public benevolent institution, a small non-profit registered charity with ACNC. This organization, known as the Emergency Relief Team Inc., was established to provide aid and support to those affected by natural disasters and continued to help those in dire need in Victoria.
